Maroon Spoons

Maroon Spoon™ feeding utensils are specialty spoons with a shallow, narrow bowl that facilitates good lip closure, promotes oral desensitization, as well as decreased tongue thrust. A longtime occupational therapy favorite, maroon spoons are an excellent choice for feeding therapy programs and  working with children who have problems with poor lip closure, oral hypersensitivity, tongue thrust, or oral defensiveness (but please note maroon spoons are not recommended for those with severe bite reflex). Made of dishwasher-safe plastic with smooth, rounded edges. Lead-, BPA, phthalate, and latex-free. Sold in 2- or 10-packs.
