Chunky Hex Shaped Beginner Pencils

Chunky 5-1/2" pencil with a thick, hard-to-break lead; ideal for little hands and beginners who are just learning how to write.  These shorter, thicker pencils feature a chunky hexagon shape that naturally cues correct finger placement and a functional tripod grasp.  The darker pencil lead cues writers not to press too hard which helps prevents hand fatigue.  These neat pencils are similar to Ferby Beginner Pencils with the addition of an eraser on the top. Our 5- and 20-packs include a custom pencil sharpener.  Awesome!
